Suzanne Sysko Clough, MD

Suzanne Sysko Clough, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer of WellDoc and the creator of BlueStar. She oversees the clinical tools used in the development of the company's web and mobile-based diabetes management platform.
Dr. Clough previously served in the University of Maryland School of Medicine's Division of Endocrinology: Diabetes and Nutrition, and was the medical director of the Center for Weight Management and Wellness, each located in Baltimore.
She has also served as the founder and the medical director of "Get Fit Maryland! The 10,000 Steps Program," in which she designed a statewide, private-public community outreach program to raise awareness of obesity. Dr. Clough developed and implemented a 12-week medically-based exercise program for more than 7,000 Maryland residents.
